trying to detoxify after this semester of crappy eating and today u started my fruit, veg. , nut, and possibly bean detox I got a ninja pulse blender yesterday and now I can liquify everything! it makes for easier nutrient absorption but it also makes it possible for me to disguise veggies I don’t usually like tonight it was kale its weird I cook for a living and it smells good but I don’t really want to eat any of it I feel really committed so hopefully this is a start of better things to come :)

In an awful mood not really sure why but it hasn’t been a great day I have felt anxious and overwhelmed all day I need to finish packing mostly by tomorrow so my mom can come and take a car load back home with her and we are having a mini mom celebration so I should be happy, but its just stressful getting ready to leave college and finish finals but hopefully when mom comes tomorrow she will perk me up with a pep talk

New Strategy

I might track calories if I start to gain or if I just think its out of control but really I am just going to focus on healthy foods and cutting out junk more than anything. Trying to be as raw and no processed foods as possible (which will take time since I am still on campus for another week). Just enjoying health instead of tracking everything and stressing about going over.

I have really been struggling to get back on track since xmas which is way to long and I need to change. I start my year of student teaching in the fall semester and I really need all the confidence I can get I am so nervous about it anyway and worrying about how I look in my “big girl job clothes” won’t help also I don’t want my students to judge me for my wait and I am sorry but even in elementary school they notice these things. They build stereotypes at a very young age and I want to set a good example of balance in my life, not perfection by any means, but certainly more put together.

anyway this is just a new motivation and a less strict way of achieving my goal.
